Vica is an indie pop live looping artist and multi-instrumentalist from the Philippines who often incorporates layers of guitar, piano, ukulele, and sweet vocal harmonies to her songs.
She has been featured on several print publications, guested and performed on TV and radio, and received recognition for her music at The Loyola Schools Award for the Arts in 2011 and at the NU107 Rock Awards in 2010 as 1/2 of the indie folk duo, Reese & Vica.
In 2015, she joined the prestigious Elements National Music Camp where she, along with a select group of singer-songwriters, was mentored by some of the Philippines’ most esteemed veterans from the music industry such as Ryan Cayabyab, Joey Ayala, Raymund Marasigan, Ebe Dancel, and Gabby Alipe.
Vica released her first solo EP (Dear Universe) in April 2018, a week before leaving Manila and migrating to San Francisco, where she continues to make music. Dear Universe is currently available for streaming on Spotify and Apple Music.
